Surgery

Our veterinarians and technicians at FCVERH are trained and experienced in performing common emergency surgeries. In the event of an advanced surgery, a surgical specialist is called in or the patient is referred to a surgical specialty center.
For cases requiring a specialist, or for elective orthopedic surgery, we are fortunate to have numerous board-certified surgeons to perform surgery. Surgeon choice depends on availability, schedule, cost, and client preference. Under the supervision of Dr. Wright, our board-certified anesthesiologist, our anesthesia technicians closely monitor anesthesia and are prepared for any intra-operative issues that arise.
